season with Tadamon Sour before moving to Swiss club AC Lugano. After a
successful career in Lebanon, Italian Serie A club Bologna signed him in
1997.

2000-2001 season, but he struggled to get into the starting eleven. In
other to get more playing time, Inter Milan loan him to Cagliari, and
Reggina for the past two seasons. He was given more playing time during
the 2001-2002 season when star striker Ronaldo suffered an injury.
He signed for French club AS Monaco from Inter Milan before the start of
the 2004-2005 season. He was impressive during his first season at
Monaco, but quickly fell out with manager Didier Deschamps, and was
relegated to the bench. He went on loan to Saudi club Al Ittihad during
the start of the 2005-2006 season, and helped the team win the AFC
Champions League 2005 where he was top scorer in the competition before
returning back to AS Monaco. On November 19, 2007, Kallon rejected a
one-and-a-half-year deal worth 10 million U.S dollar from Saudi Arabian
club Al-Hilal and raised a lawsuit against them due to the hostage
situation that he was exposed to when he was leaving via Jeddah Airport.

Kallon joined Greek team AEK Athens on January 28, 2008. Mohamed Kallon
passed successfully a medical on Monday before signing his new contract
with the Athenian side.
Kallon was released by AEK Athens on May 19th as they were only wiling
to extend his contract for $750,000.00 instead of the
$1,000,000.00 he was demanding. His falling out with clubs and direction
with his profession has been marred by financial controversies.
On November 19, 2007 Kallon bungled a one and-half-year deal worth $10
million with Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal.
Allegedly, he double contracted himself by trying to accept a $15
Million deal with rival side Al Littihad, his former club of 2005-2006
season. He lost both contracts and was banned by the Saudi FA.
He has currently accepted a six months contract worth $1 million with
Dubai club Al-Shabab.
